The word shantaya is sanskrit and means ‘realm of peace’ or peacefulness.

Living within an ever faster paced world,  our need for quality moments of mindfulness and ease has never been greater. At Shantaya, we utilize a variety of methods, including yoga, bodywork, whole foods, and other therapeutic tools – to create an environment conducive to integration, balance and harmony. Body-mind practices attune our awareness so that we choose to align in more optimal ways, the nervous system unwinds, the prana (vital energy) flows more freely and we naturally feel energetic, happier and alive.

Life constantly demands that we make decisions. As our experience with body-mind practices deepens, we notice that we align in more harmonious ways. Guidance is allowed to come from a more authentic place. While goals and destinations provide inspiration and direction, tapping into the magic of everyday moment-to-moment awareness is what gives true satisfaction. The journey itself is the destination!
