KAOMAILANNA BOUTIQUE RESORT |
The beautiful, green, down-to-earth 3-star resort rests on 20 acres of natural land that hold 18 former tobacco curing barns, converted into 36 guest rooms. Outside you’ll see old red-brick walls, step inside and you have entered a new world of guest rooms decorated in Thai contemporary style. The resort includes a beautiful open air yoga space, conference rooms, restaurant, swimming pool and Spa with Thai massage and other treatments.
Extra Nights at the Resort
The 2 free days/nights between Immersion A & B and the 5 days/nights between Immersion Program & Teacher Training are not included in the package. These breaks are intentional to provide integration/resting time between modules. Most people choose to move to nearby Chiang Mai for the free days but if you like to stay at the resort let us know and we can arrange extra nights at a discounted rate.
You may also consider arriving a day before the training begins to have time settle in, especially if you are traveling long distance and dealing with jet lag.
TRANSPORTATION TO THE RESORT
A prepaid taxi from Chiang Mai airport or Chiang Mai city cost 550-600 THB and the 29 km ride takes 30-45 minutes depending on traffic.
For those already in Chiang Mai, local transportation Song-Thaews (yellow pick-up trucks that function like buses) are also available. They operate only during daylight and leave outside Chiang Mai Gate at the beginning of Wui Lai Road (Saturday market walking street). Get off exactly at Kilometer Marker 29 (located on the resort itself on). Cost is only about 20 THB.
