By giving the teacher trainee time to be a student first, the foundation to teach from a place of clarity and authenticity is established.

The Art of Teaching Program explores essential teaching methodologies that enable participants to share effectively the gift of yoga with others. For those new to teaching, it will create clarity and confidence to launch your teaching. For those already teaching yoga it will help attune, re-inspire, and refine teaching. Addressed are essential aspects of the yoga teaching profession including teaching methodology; organization; class planning; themes; language; practice teaching; sequencing strategies; observation; adjustments; demonstration; and taking the seat of the teacher.
To enroll in Phase 2 you need to have completed the Immersion Program, or equivalent studies.

Hello! I just completed a 200hr YTT in Arizona with a teacher who was trained in Anusara but is not currently certified. I would like to become an Anusara teacher but am not sure if I would need to begin with the 200hr or would qualify for the 300hr? Namaste 🙂 marieke
Namaste.
I am very interested in exploring anusara yoga for a long time, then I found this course, but I just want to ask, I have just finished 200hr hatha yoga teacher training course and I’m qualified by yoga alliance. Do I still need to study from the immersion? Please let me know. Thanks.
Hello Wendy,
Thanks for your interest in Anusara Yoga!.
Your message is incomplete.. what can we help you with?
Now, I saw your entire message! Yes, it is correct that you need to come to the Immersion – that’s where we teach the Anusara method in detail. Many others are in your same situation – and this year we have at least 6 people returning to do the Immersions again (some for the 4th year).
Any other questions please email me ; jonas@shantaya.org
